manipulation, library functions, preprocessor statements, arrays, pointers,

This course is an introduction to the design and creation of relational
databases. Topics include storing, retrieving, updating, and displaying
data using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Procedure Language (PL). It is obsolete and has been replaced by ITSE 1307.
This is an introduction to scripting programming languages with the utilization of the three
basic types of scalars, arrays and hashes, the control structures, regular expressions, I/O, and
textual analysis. It will be based upon Perl or Powershell based upon the semester that the course is taught.
