Short Bio of Ken Puhaly

Education:

    B.A. Oberlin College 1968

    M.A. University of Michigan 1971

    Completed course work for Ph.D. Case Western Reserve University 1973

    B.A. Texas Lutheran University 1995

    My degrees are in English Language and Literature and Computer Science

Experience:

    In the early 70s taught writing and English courses at Lorain County Community
    College and Wright State University.

    From 1985 to 2000 programmed with the Air Force and the Department
    of Defense in the civilian personnel community using Cobol, Pascal, C and
    C++.

    Held short term programming jobs using Delphi and specialized testing
    tools.

Interests:

    Especially interested in natural language processing and translation and hope to
    offer an introductory course in computational linguistics in the near future.
